Being a teacher it's my perspective
Hello everyone!!!
I hope so you all are fine and happy 😀
We all use social media in our daily life as a daily routine, it includes in our daily routine, doesn't matter we have time or not but if we have only 10 to 20 minutes from our hell busy routine we want to scroll social media on our mobile phone. Everyone has craze to use it. But if it comes to studies then it'll be boring just like computer, social studies and other subjects.

When it becomes a subject!!!!
Now every student has an account on social media but I believe when it'll added as a course book in curriculum then many students will not like to study it. People will start to loss interest in it. Because when it comes to studies then it becomes a forcefully thing and no one wants to study but everyone wants to waste time on it.
Let's talk about computer science!!!
Now a days many students choose computer in their graduation because they know it's the era of digital life and it's the best way to earn money. But computer add in our curriculum a long time ago but people start to take interest now a days because they seem only their benefits.
I'm a teacher of a high school, and I know many students learn to operate computer but when it comes to learn through book Then it hard for them to remind the key word and students said teacher computer is a tough subject.
Let's talk about social studies!!!
I know social studies include the stories of those incident which happened in past but with the mention date and year. Everyone loves to hear stories of history from their grandparents but when it comes to read through book then it'll become hard to remember and difficult to learn.
When I was a student, it's really hard for me to remember years and then all the names of different heroes which added in our book because I've to learned them forceful but later when I grew old and when social studies was not included in my course, i start to take interest in it because I don't have to remember for the paper but I've to read it with interest.
Students learn for craze of getting good grades!!!
I know some students get good marks in their subjects , doesn't matter it is social studies or computer science because they're so good in remember things temporarily, but believe me after six months of giving exams and they didn't open their book for six months they start to forget what they learned.
Being a teacher, i can read student mindset!!!
I think it'll be just ok to add a new book in student curriculum just to burden on them, and student will take it as a subject just like they took their other subjects and teachers will teach them pros and corn or the thing which added in book as teacher fullfil their responsibility.
That's all for today and it's my entry in this week hive learner contest in #hl-exclusive for the topic #hl-w155e2.

I love your perspective on this. Every interesting thing becomes a bother once it needed to be studied as a course. Students struggle with poor grades in English Language despite speaking English 80% of the time. It's even worse with local dialects.
So once social media becomes a course of study for students, the structured curriculum it follows may make it suddenly become difficult for these inquisitive teenagers that wants to try everything they lay their hands on at the same time.
Yes i agree with you in English too that students learn English fluently but when it comes to studying, it becomes a difficult subject.

Books can make life burdensome for students at times but compared to other subjects, since social media is already widely accepted by the masses including students, learning it from school would just be an avenue of relearning the use of social media in a more formal setting, it might feel burdensome to read the books but at least it is reassuring that they all have the knowledge already even if they choose not to read the books.
Yes people will get more knowledge about it and explore more about social media It must be a fun activity for students too.

You are right here @les90 . Am sure many students will not want to study social media as a course especially those who goes their to do fishy things.
Haha 😂. That is the jenzy era. They want to hear stories from grandparents and in class history becomes tough subject.
The issue here is that this era is moving so fast. They are even moving faster than their teachers.
Yeah today's generation is so fast that it's hard to understand them sometimes 😁
Well have a slice of !PIZZA
Exactly @les90 . We keep trying our best for them.
Thanks for the support. Blessings 😇
You have a point. When something becomes a school subject, it can feel like a burden instead of fun. But social media is already part of our lives, so learning how to use it wisely could be helpful.
Yes learning about its use may be helpful for us 😃

Computer science is not a study that can be limited within textbook. I am sure student will like it when the subject topic will be related with more practical knowledge.
In case of social science and as well as I know we need to read it even if I don't find any use case of it. It's indeed boring and I would love to eliminate social science from the compulsory course.
