ACE yield is out

Staking is about to be enabled now that our Hive infrastructure (Nodes) are in place

Up until now, all liquid ACE has gotten staking yield because we waited for our infra to be in place

I remember that to stake some ACE is a requirement, but not sure for what, lol.

ACE staking is primarily for earning yield (currently 10% APR). The staking requirement you're thinking of is likely for accessing LEO Lending — you need to stake ACE as collateral to borrow against your LEO without selling it. So it's the collateral mechanism, not just a yield play.
