Cleaning Post after Miraculous Escape

Sometimes life brings what we never expected or wished for. Today I almost got into trouble for a crime I never committed. While returning from the bank after going to pay my brother's school fees I decided to walk down back home instead of paying money for a ride back home. While walking in the crowd I saw some items which attracted me. I saw attractive shoes, shirts and some chains. I decided to stop by to ask for the price and confirm if they were things I could afford.

While still bargaining price with a seller, a young boy just a year or two older than me walked down to me sweating and breathing heavily. He knelt down and began to beg me to help him hold his phone. I was surprised. I wondered why a grown up like him would walk up to a stranger and ask me to keep hold of his phone. While still contemplating on the choice to make, he quickly squeezed the phone into my hands and ran. Not too long after he ran some able-bodied men came up to me questioning me. They took me away to their vehicle and began to ask me questions about the phone I was holding and I told them everything that happened. They never believed me until some of the people around when the incident occurred came to testify to my case and I was released.

I later realized that the boy who gave me his phone was a fraudster who had been using his phone for a lot of fraudulent activities and was tracked. So giving me the phone made the agencies track me and thought I was the culprit.

I'm happy because the people around me and the guy I wanted to buy shoes from his shop gathered courage to testify that I was innocent and that paved the way for my release. This is a problem I never wished for and never knew could come my way today but I'm happy that as life threw such to me, I escaped.

So on returning home, I had to just sleep well to relieve myself of the fear and feeling of “what would have happened if I didn't escape such an incident.” So after sleeping for a while I woke up later in the evening and decided to go do my cleanup.

The cleanup was done and dusted. Since I love staying outside at night to watch movies, I have had many experiences where rats and other pests play around the compound due to garbage dropped recklessly by our neighbors. So today I decided to clean up everything, I packaged them and disposed of them in a bucket in the backyard.
