Good day friends! I feel happy having the opportunity to share my writing on today's prompt with everyone.

Theme: lacks sensitivity

Peter and Paul are the only sons of late Mr. John's family. Later Mr. John was a hunter and died after suffering a snake bite. But before this terror fell on this innocent man, he saved another life.

Mr. Lookman was one of the richest men in the Oluka community. Though he was a generous man, he still had enemies who didn't wish him well. One night as Mr. Lookman and his wife were returning from their warehouse after concluding the business for the day, they were blocked and abducted by two hefty men who hid their identity with masks.

As these men took them into the forest, they came across Mr. John who laid quietly trying to target his prey. But the noise from these kidnappers scared away the prey, drawing Mr. John's attention to them first. Mr. John had been a hunter for years and had faced many bandits and wild animals in the forest. His experiences didn't let him down as he displayed his bravery by releasing gunshots to the air and shouting, “Get down on your knees.”

This scared away the kidnappers who felt it was a military intervention not knowing it was a “one-man-squad” intervention, lol. Mr. John was able to rescue and take Mr. Lookman and his wife safely to their car.
Though Mr. Lookman gave the hunter some cash, he still promised to visit him and honor him more.

After Mr Lookman's visit to Mr John's home, he promised to train his two children, Peter and Paul in school.
Peter loved school but Paul wanted to become a businessman as he believed he could become the next Mr. Lookman without going to school, just to learn the business. Their Dad kicked the bucket when they were still in high school.

Paul's Dad was always pushing him to study and get a certificate before switching to business if he insisted but his demise gave Paul a chance to choose his path.
Paul's mother too never supported his idea but couldn't force him. Paul was insensitive to her mother's feelings.

But for Peter, he was dedicated to education. Though he didn't dress nice and look neat like other students, he didn't let that shift his focus. Juliet, one of the beautiful girls in class, was always seeking Peter’s attention but Peter kept on acting insensitive to her attractive moves.
The sweet part of the story remains that Juliet and Peter became great friends, excelling in school and Paul succeeded in his business and they both made their Mom proud.
