Mi experiencia en el concierto debut de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Caracas. [ESP-ENG]
¡Hola! Hoy quiero mostrarles y contarles sobre mi experiencia disfrutando del concierto debut de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Caracas.
La verdad es que ese día venía de descansar de otro evento que duró dos días. Quizá les cuente pronto en otra publicación. Estaba algo cansado, pero mi hermana, que también es músico, me invitó al concierto y me pareció que era un buen momento para compartir con ella. Tenía ya unos meses sin ir a conciertos en la Sede de Orquestas, así que no desaproveché la oportunidad.
El concierto estaba pautado para las 4 PM. Como era gratis y ya conocemos cómo funcionan esos eventos, nos fuimos con tiempo de antelación para poder entrar al evento. Para nuestra sorpresa, ese tiempo no fue suficiente. ¡Había demasiada gente! Hicimos la cola para entrar, pero cuando estábamos cerca, dijeron que ya no había más lugares, pero que harían una segunda función. Si esperábamos, podríamos entrar a la siguiente. Así fue, tuvimos que esperar en la cola un rato, como ven en la segunda imagen. Cuando por fin nos dieron entrada, aproveché para seguir tomando fotos del lugar. La iluminación hace que la infraestructura de la sede de orquestas se vea muy bonita.
Por mi profesión, no puedo evitar fijarme en lo que se usa para todo tipo de conciertos. En este caso, vi que tenían un line array JBL colgando del techo, seguramente de la serie Vtx V, que es el sistema de sonido habitual en esa sala. Además, tenían varios micrófonos colgando del techo, algunos sobre el lugar del director, para tener la referencia principal, y otros a un nivel cercano a los músicos para que el ingeniero pueda apoyar desde la consola de Main. También tenían otros micrófonos de apoyo posicionados entre los músicos. Logré ver por ahí un Neumann u87. Normalmente, estos micrófonos se usan de apoyo, porque la sala ayuda a que se escuchen los músicos gracias a su diseño. A pesar de notar todos los equipos disponibles, también noté que cuando comenzó el concierto, no hicieron uso de ninguna de estas herramientas. Quizá las usaron en la primera función, no estoy seguro. Todo parecía estar muy montado para sonar, pero no hicieron uso de los equipos. Aún así, se escuchó bastante bien.
Me gustó mucho el concierto, estuvo interesante. Para ser tan jóvenes, los integrantes de la orquesta me parecieron muy buenos. Lo disfruté. Y bueno, como ven en las imágenes, aproveché para tomar fotos de toda mi experiencia. La sede es un lugar muy bonito y facilita mucho tomar fotos geniales. Tuvimos la ventaja de salir de noche y aproveché las luces para traerles varias fotos interesantes del lugar. Espero que las disfruten tanto como yo.

My experience at the debut concert of the Caracas Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Hello! Today I want to show you and tell you about my experience enjoying the debut concert of the Caracas Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The truth is, that day I had just finished resting from another event that lasted two days. Maybe I'll tell you about it soon in another post. I was somewhat tired, but my sister, who is also a musician, invited me to the concert, and I thought it was a good opportunity to spend time with her. It had been a few months since I last attended concerts at the Orchestra Headquarters, so I didn't miss out on the chance.
The concert was scheduled for 4 PM. Since it was free and we know how these events work, we went with plenty of time in advance to enter the venue. To our surprise, that time was not enough. There were so many people! We lined up to enter, but when we were close, they announced that there were no more seats available, but they would have a second performance. If we waited, we could attend the next one. So, we had to wait in line for a while, as you can see in the second picture. When we finally got in, I took the opportunity to continue taking photos of the venue. The lighting made the infrastructure of the orchestra headquarters look beautiful.
Due to my profession, I can't help but notice what is used for all types of concerts. In this case, I saw that they had a JBL line array hanging from the ceiling, probably from the Vtx V series, which is the usual sound system in that hall. They also had several microphones hanging from the ceiling, some above the conductor's spot for the main reference, and others at a level close to the musicians, so the engineer could support from the Main console. They also had other support microphones positioned among the musicians. I spotted a Neumann U87 somewhere around there. Normally, these microphones are used for support because the hall helps to amplify the sound of the musicians due to its design. Despite noticing all the available equipment, I also noticed that when the concert started, they didn't make use of any of these tools. Perhaps they used them in the first performance, I'm not sure. Everything seemed to be set up for sound, but they didn't use the equipment. Nevertheless, it sounded quite good.
I really enjoyed the concert; it was interesting. Considering their age, the members of the orchestra were really talented. I had a great time. And well, as you can see in the pictures, I took the opportunity to capture my entire experience. The venue is a beautiful place, and it makes it easy to take great photos. We had the advantage of going out at night, and I took advantage of the lights to bring you several interesting photos of the place. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Esa es genial! Y si supieras... Hubo varios intentos para lograr captar esa posición de todos, incluyendo al director. Por razones obvias se movían mucho y me costó conseguir esa toma pero se logró. Me alegra que te gustara! 😊
