Greetings to my Hivers friends and those in the Homeedders community. I hope you are all doing well. I am pleased to be able to share a few lines with you today regarding the importance as parents of recognizing the talent of our children and supporting and encouraging them in this for their growth, training and for them to develop skills and obtain the tools for what they like and are passionate about.
Saludos mis Hivers amigos y de la comunidad Homeedders, espero se encuentren todos muy bien. Me alegra poder compartirles unas líneas en este día en relación a la importancia como padres en reconocer el talento de nuestros niños y apoyarles e impulsarles en estos para su crecimiento, formación y que vayan desarrollando habilidades como obteniendo las herramientas en eso que tanto les gusta y apasiona.
Talking about talents is referring to the set of characteristics, aptitudes and intellectual capacity that a person possesses; either naturally (innate skills and abilities that a person has from birth); meanwhile, acquired talent (the skills and abilities that a person has developed over time through education, training and work experience).
Hablar de talentos es hacer referencia al conjunto de características, aptitudes y la capacidad intelectual que posee una persona; bien sea, de manera natural (habilidades y capacidades innatas que posee una persona desde su nacimiento); mientras tanto el talento adquirido (las habilidades y capacidades que una persona ha desarrollado a lo largo del tiempo a través de la educación, la formación y la experiencia laboral).
As a mother of two girls, the task of observing and recognizing talents, as well as the work, is double. But I enjoy being able to identify and recognize what those innate talents are in each of my girls and being able to support them is a great encouragement for them and even for me, this makes me strive harder and encourages me to work with them to achieve each objective, goal or plan that they set at their young ages to achieve part of their dreams and train them for tomorrow.
Como madre de dos niñas la tarea de observación y reconocimiento de los talentos, así como el trabajo es doble. Pero me gozo de poder identificar y reconocer cuáles son esos talentos innatos en cada una de mis niñas y poder apoyarlas es de gran estímulo para ellas y aún para mí, esto me hace esforzarme más y me anima a junto a ellas lograr cada objetivo, meta o plan que se tracen a sus cortas edades para lograr parte de sus sueños y formarlas para el mañana.
Last Sunday, the church we attend celebrated its 23rd anniversary, where the children had to present several specials, including: opening the service, singing, dancing, theater, preaching the word. My heart was beating with excitement and my eyes lit up seeing how happy they were to participate in the activities that took many days of rehearsal and preparation, where each one was doing what she likes and is passionate about. My oldest daughter was finally able to be in worship, singing as she likes; something she had been waiting for so long, to be taken into account in this area in particular, had arrived... Her moment! Meanwhile, on the other hand, my youngest daughter enjoys the theatrical art of being able to represent characters and use the costumes that correspond to them.
El domingo antepasado en la iglesia a la que asistimos se realizó el evento de 23 años de aniversario, donde los niños tenían que presentar varios especiales, entre ellos: la apertura del servicio, cantos, danzas, teatro, predicar la palabra. Mi corazón latía de emoción y mis ojos se iluminaban de ver como ellas eran tan felices de participar en las actividades que llevaron muchos días de ensayo preparación, donde estaban cada una en lo que les gusta y apasiona. Mi niña mayor por fin pudo estar en la adoración, cantando como a ella le gusta; algo que tanto tiempo estaba esperando, ser tomada en cuenta en esta área en especial, había llegado... ¡Su momento! Mientras tanto, ´por otro lado, mi hija pequeña disfruta del arte teatral de poder representar personajes y usar los vestuarios que a estos les corresponden.
Our role and commitment as parents is extremely important when it comes to the growth of our children in each of the areas, even in their tastes and in those things that we know they have their skills and good virtues to highlight; we must be mothers, fathers and representatives who are not alien, distant from the interests of our children because it is a way to connect with them to such an extent that it generates great well-being for their lives and self-esteem. We are their point of support to achieve great things in life!
Nuestro papel,rol y compromiso como padres es sumamente importante a la hora del crecimiento de nuestros hijos en cada una de las áreas, aún en sus gustos y en aquello que sabemos que tienen sus habilidades y buenas virtudes para destacar; debemos ser madres, padres y representantes que no estén ajenos, alejados de los intereses de nuestros hijos porque es una manera de conectar con ellos a tal punto que genera gran bienestar para sus vidas y autoestima. ¡Somos su punto de apoyo para lograr grandes logros en la vida!
Supporting them in their talents is a way to make them grow more day after day, even more so when they are constantly there, preparing themselves in a disciplined way in what awakens their passion (singing, dancing, theater, painting, sports...) This provides them with the necessary tools for their maturity and self-knowledge as well. Therefore, in these lines I want to share with you some benefits as advice in our participation as parents.
Apoyarlos en sus talentos es una manera de hacerlos crecer más día tras día, en mayor manera cuando de forma disciplinada están allí constantes preparándose en lo que despierta su pasión (Canto,danza, teatro, pintura, deportes...) Esto les proporciona las herramientas necesarias para su madurez y autoconocimiento también. Por ello, a continuación en estas líneas quiero compartirte algunos beneficios como consejos en nuestra participación como padres.

From the warmth of our home, every mother and father is an "enhancer" for their children; you may wonder, how is that? Well, someone who is a valuable instrument to empower, to increase their spirit, their self-esteem and help them build dreams. We are those figures that motivate them, but at this point I want to clarify that our motivation has to be balanced, so that they do not bear the pressure or stress of wanting to be better above all to please us, but rather be that someone who motivates them and teaches them that in the midst of executing and developing their talents there will be pleasant moments as well as others that are not, moments of victories and others not, to make them understand that despite the losses and ups and downs it is not the end, nor a definitive failure or defeat. Where everything is also achieved with dedication and care, with patience, knowing that everything in life takes time.
Supporting our little ones at home encourages perseverance and the development of resilience skills.
They manage to gain security and self-confidence.
It allows them to acquire basic skills such as effective communication. They develop in life as boys and girls with good communication bases and how to relate to others.
Developing their talents and putting them into practice teaches them to insist, resist and persist in order to learn more about them and grow in them. In addition, they learn along the way to perfect them to be committed, work as a team and be empathetic.
In our task as parents we are on a mission to discover that talent and along the way what else does it bring, imply and demand in order to create the right conditions for that talent, that potential, to sprout on its own and shine in its environment. Because each one has a special brilliance and essence for this world.

Desde el calor de nuestro hogar cada madre y padre en un "potenciador" para sus hijos; quizás te preguntes ¿Cómo es eso? Pues, alguien que es instrumento valioso para potenciar, para aumentar el ánimo, la autoestima y ayudarles a construir sueños. Somos esas figuras que les motiva, pero en este punto quiero aclarar que nuestra motivación tiene que ser equilibrada, para que en ellos no recaiga la presión o el estrés de querer ser mejor ante todo por complacernos a nosotros, sino ser ese alguien que les motive y enseñe que en medio de ejecutar y desarrollar sus talentos habrán momentos gratos como otros que no, momentos de victorias y otros no, darles a entender que pese a las perdidas y altibajos no es el final, ni un fracaso o derrota definitiva. Donde todo se alcanza también con dedicación y esmero, con paciencia, sabiendo que todo en la vida lleva su tiempo.
Apoyar a nuestros pequeños en casa fomenta la perseverancia y el desarrollo de habilidades de resiliencia.
Logran obtener la seguridad y la confianza en sí mismos.
Permite que adquieran habilidades básicas como la comunicación efectiva. Se desarrollan en la vida como niños y niñas con buenas bases comunicativas y de relacionarse con los otros.
Desarrollar sus talentos y ponerlos en práctica les enseña a insistir, resistir y persistir por aprender más de estos y crecer en ellos. Además que, aprenden en medio del camino de ir perfeccionándolos también a ser comprometidos, trabajar en equipo y ser empáticos.
En nuestra tarea como padres y madres estamos en la misión de descubrir ese talento y en medio del camino qué más trae, implica y demanda este para crear las condiciones adecuadas para que ese talento, esa potencialidad, brote por sí sola y brille en su entorno. Porque cada uno tiene un brillo y esencia especial para este mundo.
To close this content, I want to tell you that our support in the lives of our little ones is so vital that it is part of those seeds planted with love in the soil of their hearts that germinate to bear fruit; it is up to us if we want them to be abundant or scarce in the measure of the love, affection, commitment, protection, security that we can give them. Because a boy or girl where the presence and support of their parents is present is not the same as another who does not live their life experiences in this way in the company and attention of these two fundamental pillars in their existence; which leads to many losing interest in many things and their feelings and emotions are affected. Mommy and daddy who read these lines... ¡Reach out your hand to take your children's hand with love and guide them with wisdom and unconditional support!
Para cerrar este contenido, quiero decirte que nuestro apoyo en las vidas de nuestros pequeños es tan vital que forma parte de esas semillas sembradas con amor en la tierra de su corazón que va germinando para dar frutos; de nosotros depende si queremos que sean abundantes o escasos en la medida del amor, afecto, compromiso, protección, seguridad que podamos a ellos dar. Porque no es lo mismo un niño o niña donde la presencia y apoyo de sus padres está presente, a otro que no vive de esa manera sus experiencias de vida en compañía y la atención de estos dos pilares fundamentales en su existencia; lo que lleva a que muchos pierden interés en muchas cosas y sus sentimientos como emociones se ven afectadas. Mami y papi que lees estas líneas... ¡Extiende tu mano para tomar la de tus hijos con amor y guiarles con sabiduría y apoyo incondicional!
