Monomad: Ahad Festival
Last Sunday I took the time to visit the Sunday festival held by the Lhokseumawe city government through the industry and trade department. This event was held in the city center in front of the Lhokseumawe City Museum.
This is an event that is eagerly awaited by the local community, because it is only held on Sundays. Micro businesses from the community also participated on this Sunday festival, many small entrepreneurs such as traditional food sellers selling various types of food that we rarely find on normal days.
After walking around and enjoying several events on the Sunday of the festival, I saw a traditional cake seller selling various kinds of wet cakes and they looked very delicious. Finally I bought some cakes there to enjoy and all the cakes sold had a very good taste. It reminds me of my childhood, because the cakes sold are very rare to find in modern stalls nowadays.
There were several middle-aged people who were also seen choosing the snacks they bought and they said they were very happy to visit this Sunday Festival, because it supports the preservation of the culture of the local community. These are some photos that I captured through my camera lens and I want to share with friends in the Black and White community.
That's my post today in the Black and White community, I hope all my friends like it.
