Where have I been?

Well, I haven't forgotten about HIVE but I have been truly absent for about a month and for a month before that I was rarely on HIVE.

So what happened?

There was a lot going on. At the end of May, I added some part-time work to my schedule doing some AI model training that paid pretty well. By doing that 10 hours a week and getting paid in $ into my Paypal I was able to make almost triple what I do working long hours in the resort. But this cut into my blurt time because I was really only able to do this work late at night after the wife and boy were asleep.

Added to that we were working on getting my wife a visa to visit Germany. This is a very long story to be shared another time. But this took a lot of time and emotional energy, there is a lot of discrimination and red tape for an African to travel to the Western world even for the most honest reasons.

A week before our proposed travel dates and after an appeal we finally got the visa for my wife and we hurried to make plans for our vacation.

On June 1st we flew to Munich Germany where we met up with @dzigbordi sister who lives there, her husband, and two girls. We stayed one night there before we hopped on a train to Florence Italy, and then to Lucca Italy. There we met up with my Sister, her husband, the kids, and my mother. This was the first time that my sister had met my wife and boy, and the first time I have met her children.

From Lucca, we went to Napoli and spent another 10 days on the Amalfi coast enjoying ourselves. After that, we got back on a train and went back to Munich and spent another 10 days there.

Just Wednesday we returned to Ghana and I jumped right back into work at the resort. All of our bags didn't arrive also.

From here I hope to get some time to post some of my adventures form vacation and also some new street art in the street art contests.
