My Thoughts About Online Growth This Sunday

Today being Sunday, I just felt like sharing something that has been on my mind for a while now — online growth. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time observing how people grow online, how brands get recognized, and how some individuals just keep moving higher while others stay stuck on the same level for months or even years.

To be honest, online growth is not just about posting content every day. I used to think it was about consistency alone, but over time I’ve realized it’s way deeper than that. You can be consistent and still not grow, especially if you are not improving in your content quality or connecting with people genuinely.

I’ve seen people who started small and within few months, they are everywhere. Not because they are better, but because they understand how to position themselves. Growth online needs strategy, and it needs patience too. The truth is, most of us want fast results. We want to see big numbers immediately. But the internet doesn’t work that way. You grow as you learn, and you learn as you grow.

For me, the most important thing is not just growing, but growing with sense. You can chase followers, likes and views, but if your content doesn’t carry meaning or connect to people emotionally, then you’re just shouting into the air. People love realness, they love to feel that you’re one of them, not a robot trying to act perfect.

Sometimes, I look at my old posts and I just smile. Back then, I didn’t know anything about engagement or algorithms. I just posted anything that came to mind. But right now, I’ve come to understand that if you want to grow online, you must understand your audience. You must know what they enjoy and what they can relate to. It’s not just about you, it’s about them too.

Another thing I’ve learned is that you can’t grow alone. You need people. You need to support others and also get support in return. It’s all about community. That’s one thing I love about Hive. You don’t just post and vanish — you interact, comment, share, and connect with others. That’s how growth happens naturally.

Online growth can be slow sometimes, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Even when it feels like no one is watching, trust me, someone is. Just keep showing up, keep improving your craft, and keep being you.

So this Sunday, I just want to remind anyone reading this: don’t compare your growth with anyone else’s. Everyone has their own time. Focus on improving little by little. Consistency added with value always open doors, even the ones you even the ones you don't expect.
