LOH 245 // There Are Bad Omen And Good Omen

No matter where you are in the world, you will hear people interpreting a sign in one way or the other from the sign that is guiding decisions, the sign that is warning you of a danger, or affirm a path already taken. Even if you did not believe some of these signs, the moment a coincidence happens, you will start questioning your beliefs. Like they say, if a black cat cross your path, it often a sign of bad luck, while spotting a shooting star might inspire a wish or bring a sense of hopeful anticipation.

There is this thing about glasses falling and shattered on their own is a sign of something terrible is about to happen, the day it happened to me even though I don't want to believe it but my mind was there and I started feeling restless. My husband was not at home and my son was in school, I have to call my husband to and asked him if was okay and he said he was fine, I called my son's school Nd asked his teacher if my son is okay and she said he is doing well. I went as far as calling my mom, my siblings and even my friends that we haven't talked in ages just to make sure everybody is doing fine. But thirty minutes after, I received a call and they told me that my step brother was involved in an accident but it was not serious.

Though it might be just a coincidence but for the fact that it happens after what I saw makes me believe it. I remember a moment that felt just like a sign, more of a warning and whether or not it truly was, the feeling it evoked was unforgettable. There was a day I was travelling, I wanted to go and see my mom and I was already at the car park and we are almost ready to take off when I stepped out of the bus to get a drink. The moment I stepped out, a bird poo on my body, normally I’m not someone who usually reads into signs, but this moment felt different, it felt really weird and don't feel like going with that bus again and without thinking twice I told the driver to give me my load that I'm not going again. He gave me but not after many abusive words which I only say sorry to.

I went back home, change my clothes and went back to the park and the moment I got back, that bus took off and I have to enter another one. Twenty minutes into the journey, we saw that former bus was already in a serious accident and there are some people laying down, some unconscious and some are seriously injured. Deep down I knew it might be a coincidence but another side of me was thankful that I listened to the warning and not see it as nothing

But did you know that even if it is rooted from the tradition or it is just from our personal experience, omens often carry meaning because we give them meaning because sometimes, they help us make sense of uncertainty because there are many things that is not certain in this world.
