Splinterlands Art Contest | Chaos Lackey

Hello everyone, hopenyoure doing great. It's another lovely week and this is my entry for the splinterlands art contest. I chose to do a fanart of Chaos Lackey because I haven't painted a creature with horns in a very long time, this is a very interesting character and a cool lore too.

Kobolds usually work as servants in the Chaos Empire, running around doing whatever their masters asks of them, for example cleaning, delivering messages, fixing weapons, or shining armor. Their jobs might seem small but iys very important asthey help the rulers focus on bigger things, like taking control and keeping others and everything in check.

PROCESS

First phase is for the sketch, choosing and painting flat colours for the character while making sure everything looks right before adding any type of detail.

The second phase is for rendering and bring the character to life. Adding highlights and shadows where necessary, painting more strands of hair and adding all the tiny details in the right places.
