Sketchbook Journal 137 | Bird on a Rock

It rained a little earlier today and I took a litte walk around and saw a dead bird lying helplessly close to my aloe vera plant, a rope was tightly tied on one of its legs and I still wonder how that happened. Was it someone's pet? I felt quite bad though.

Anyway, I'm sharing another entry from my sketchbook. Asides portraits, birds are one creature I enjoy drawing and they're mostly standing on flower/tree branches but this one is standing on a rock with the tree branch hanging downwards with the leaves almost touching the birds head. I love how this one turned out....
