Portrait Study

I started a digital portrait study of a brown skinned girl with a huge beautiful afro. My goal was to focus on her expression, softness, hair, her sun-kissed skin and all the little details that make her glow.
Studying her features her skin tones, her hair texture, smile and her calm gaze felt really good. I didn't really focus on getting the colors right but focused more on the pose, features and getting the entire form right. I love how this one turned out..
