My entry for the shadow smash contest round 380
As I walked down the dusty road toward home, the first thing I noticed was my shadow, long, stretched, and quiet. It moved with me, every step in sync like a silent companion.
this is my entry photo for the contest.
There’s something deeply comforting about shadows. They show up even when no one else does. That day, the sun was soft, and the dust danced beneath my feet, but my shadow stayed close, proof that I existed, that I was present.
These are the other shadows photo I took.
Shadows might seem like nothing, just a dark outline, but they remind us of light, of presence, of movement. They don’t speak, yet they say so much. I’ve come to realize that our shadows are not just reflections, they’re memories, feelings, and silent witnesses of our everyday journey.
And sometimes, when words fail, it’s the shadow that tells the story best.
