Expectations For My Country

The year has just started. Everyone has personal goals which they strive to achieve. My expectations for my country this year is something we all wish for as citizens. We hope that one day, the change we see only as dreams will become reality.

The first on my list is security. My greatest desire for my country is that the government eradicate all terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers, because they are spread across the country. Citizens live in fear because you never know what will happen. Villagers live in fear because overnight an entire community can be bombed and completely wiped out. Citizens cannot travel freely because the roads are unsafe due to kidnappers and terrorists.
I earnestly desire that the government addresses the security issues this year.

Secondly, I want the government to focus more on the health sector of the country. Most doctors are underpaid, so they work multiple shifts in different places just to earn enough money. This situation has affected the quality of their services. There have been many errors and mistakes that have cost lives, often due to negligence, nonchalant attitudes from some medical staff, or the activities of unqualified practitioners.

There is an urgent need for a thorough review and strict monitoring of hospitals across the country. Proper supervision will help reduce medical errors and ensure that only qualified professionals are allowed to practice.

When healthcare workers are well paid, properly trained, and adequately monitored, they can give patients the care and attention they deserve. Strengthening the health sector will not only save lives but also restore public trust in the system.

Finally, the government made many promises about creating job opportunities across various sectors of the country. I hope that this year, those promises will be fulfilled.
Several grants and empowerment programs were introduced to support and uplift young people and the poor. I sincerely hope these programs will be properly implemented and reach the people they were meant to help.

When employment opportunities are created and empowerment initiatives are carried out with fairness and transparency, they can reduce poverty, discourage crime, and give citizens a sense of purpose. Fulfilling these promises would bring real relief to many families and strengthen the nation as a whole.
