Journey To Hometown 2
I arrived in Purworejo at 3 on Monday morning. It was too early. I decided to stop at Kutoarjo. Then I went to a mosque on the side of the street to sleep and wait for morning.
I could not take any photos because my phone was off due to the battery being dead.
I woke up at 5 and performed the morning prayer. After that, I sat in front of the mosque and had a cigarette.
At 6, I waited for public transport number 3. However, until 8 o'clock, no vehicle number 3 appeared. Then I decided to take number 4. It was farther away because it followed a different route.
At 8:02, I got on a number 4 vehicle. The trip took 30 minutes. I talked a lot with the driver. He said that things had changed. Car number 3 was dying out. In a day, there might only be one or two. People now prefer motorcycles over public transport.
I got off at Pituruh Subdistrict, then I walked home. It took me 30 minutes. It was hot, and I still could not take photos because my phone was off.
At nine in the morning, I arrived home. I entered the house and called my mom, just like I used to when I was a kid. I saw my mom in the kitchen. I hugged her. She looked so weak. I cried.
My mom is okay now. She had vertigo, but she is better. I sat and talked with her a lot.
My mom gave me rice, vegetables, and a fried egg. Then I ate.
After that, I felt tired and went to sleep in the afternoon. I went to my garden, where I was able to take some photos. Then I visited my uncle in a village called Kalimeneng. The view of the mountains was a6mazing, but my phone camera was broken, so I could only take photos with the front lens.
In the evening, I returned home and spent the night with my mom. We talked a lot about our family stories.
