Me atrevo a decir que tanto los aficionados de River Plate como los de Boca Juniors terminamos decepcionados con la actuación de nuestro respectivo equipo.
I dare say that both River Plate and Boca Juniors fans were disappointed with the performance of our respective teams.
Ambos dieron una mala imagen del fútbol argentino y no estuvieron a la altura de esta competición.

Empezando con Boca Juniors, desde el principio la tuvo muy difícil. Al compartir grupo con un grande y un coloso de Europa como lo son Benfica y Bayern de Múnich. Aun con la adversidad, logró sacar un empate y una derrota por la mínima. Dando una actuación digna y decente teniendo en cuenta el contexto actual del equipo.
Starting with Boca Juniors, they had a very difficult time from the beginning. Sharing a group with a big and a colossus of Europe such as Benfica and Bayern Munich. El inconveniente es que con estos resultados, dejaba a Boca con un pie y medio fuera de octavos de final. Solo pudiendo clasificar si en la última ronda el Bayern le ganaba a Benfica y si nosotros lográbamos ganarle por 6 o 7 goles al Auckland City.

I'm usually an optimist, but I think Boca fans were too dreamy. They talked very naturally about scoring 6 goals. En conclusión, como aficionado de Boca Juniors solo pedía una cosa para este mundial de clubes. Simplemente, quería que no hagan el ridículo. Ya daba por hecho que no lo íbamos a ganar. Solo pretendía no quedar mal ante los ojos del mundo. Y ni eso se consiguió. Nos hizo un gol un profesor y nos empató un equipo conformado por un ferretero, limpiador de piscina, agente inmobiliario, etc.
In conclusion, as a Boca Juniors fan I only asked for one thing for this Club World Cup. I simply wanted them not to make fools of themselves. Cosa que para un equipo argentino es bastante humillante. Es motivo de burla que un equipo argentino no logre ganarle a un mexicano. Y peor sí te echa del grupo.

En mi caso particular (siendo hincha de River) no sé si la palabra sería decepción. Si considero que se pudo dar un poco. De igual manera muy conforme con lo sucedido y a seguir trabajando en pos de mejorar.
