Queen of Crows Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest Entry

Hello, how are you? I am contemplating my life right now, and stress is consuming me at the moment. I wonder why people impulsively do whatever they want without even considering the consequences of their decisions. My body is burning from rage. Why go get something and then expect someone to take care of it, as if you are the one who pays all the bills, and why? I am this close to bursting, but what can I do?

Thanks to Splinterlands, I can clear my mind while I am sketching my entry for this week, so I chose Queen of Crows because I love her hair so much, and she caught my eye, actually, and I guess I went with a simple design this time because I ran out of time, and I guess I did my best.

The Process:

For the line art, I went for the simple one this week, just like the last time, but I guess my entry for this week took me a little time to decide what I should draw for her, and I think I like it, it's simple and cute at the same time. By the way, I used marker detail for the sketch and final line art for my entry, and to achieve the clean line art, I adjusted the stabilization of the brush. Now that I have the line art, I can proceed to the next process of the art.

The next process of the drawing is that I added the base color of the character, and I used the shape fill tool brush to add the base color, and I made sure every part of the character has its own layer, so that rendering later is easier. I enjoy this part of the process.

The next part of the process of drawing is that I added the base shadows and highlights. I enjoy this part too, and it is so satisfying to look and. By the way, I use the shape fill tool brush to add the shadows, and the highlight makes adding them easier. And by the way, I like adding texture to the canvas is it's like my ritual since I discovered it.

For this part of the process is I lower the opacity of the line art because I am not dependent to it and then I after that I start rendering the character what I do is I soften the shadows and highlights using blur filter Gaussian Blur this is so helpful to me I think I saw artist do this and then I tried it and it work so I always do it when I render my art.

For this part of the process, I completely hide the line art and then continue rendering again, and what I do is I add more details to the character, and I decided to add the background design earlier because I have had this idea since I started rendering, so why not add it earlier, right?

For the final process of the drawing I carefully added more intense shadows and highlights, and instead of adding a actual crows I decided why not add it as lights shape and glowing at the same time so that what I did and I like it to make it more lively I added a ball of light behind her so that it can reflect behind her which makes everything better.
