Hello, how are you? So many things happen today, and I felt super tired and satisfied at the same time. My dopamine levels are so high that I don’t know what to feel anymore.

Felt like I was going to sleep all day for this tiredness to go away. So my cravings for a donut have not come true, but it will soon. Hahaha.

One of the donuts I used to order is the one with powdered sugar and jelly like filing, and I am going to make that into a keychain.

Materials I Used:

  • Polymer Clay
  • Glass Sheet
  • Portable Weighing Scale
  • Gum Container
  • Tree Brush Tool
  • Dotting Tool
  • Soft Pastels
  • Brush
  • Eyepin
  • Liquid Clay
  • Needle Tools
  • Silicone Mat
  • Oven
  • Clear Glue
  • White Sand
  • Keychain
  • Pliers

Craft Time!

Condition my clay until the texture is soft enough to work with, and then I like to weigh it to the exact size I want it to be.

And then I shape it into a ball and press it gently.

And then I am going to add the texture using the dotting tool.

To add the bread texture, I use this tree brush tool.

To add shade, I use soft pastels and a brush to achieve the realistic color of it.

After that, I added the eyepins.

To make this mixture, I use liquid clay and then pink clay, mix them until well combined, and then I use this needle tool to add the mixture.

And then I put the clay onto a silicone mat, and then I make sure to preheat the oven first and bake it at the temperature and time on the packaging instructed.

I was supposed to use UV Resin, but I think clear glue works better and is safer. What I do is I add clear glue to the top and bottom of the donut clay, and then I roll it around the ground in white sand.

25.JPG

And then I did the other side of the clay, and then I let it air dry clay and it worked, I like it so much.

27.JPG

To add the keychain, I put the jump ring into the eyepins.

And then lock the jump ring using two pliers, and done!
