1.JPG

I sketch the reference first, and then I condition all the clay colors I am going to use.

2.JPG

3.JPG

So I like to start with a lighter color first because if I started with darker clay, it would stain my hands, and it would stain the lighter clay.

5.JPG

6.JPG

I will start with the skin first, all the part that all skin color I am going to group them so that when I start assembling them all, it is much easier to do it.

7.JPG

8.JPG

Next part is his clothing with contains a lot of black, so I needed to wear gloves so that I would not stain my hands LOL.

Sculpting the Face:

10.JPG

13.JPG

First is I put the head on an acrylic stamping block just to make the sculpting easier. After that, using the dotting tool to map where I am going to put the eyes.

14.JPG

15.JPG

Then I carefully added the eyes using the dotting tool.

17.JPG

18.JPG

And then eyebrows.

20.JPG

21.JPG

For the nose, I shape it into a triangle shape, and then I cut it in the middle to form it as a heart shape.

22.JPG

23.JPG

This is what it looks like, and then I put it in the middle of the face.

25.JPG

26.JPG

For the lips, this is the hardest part, but I am still in the process of perfecting it. I roll a dark brown clay until it is thin enough.

27.JPG

28.JPG

Then I cut it using the X- Acto Knife, and then one by one, adding it.

30.JPG

31.JPG

And then ears.

32.JPG

33.JPG

Made a hole to imitate the ears.

Sculpting the Body:

35.JPG

36.JPG

For the body, I stick it on a toothpick container as a reference to a phone, and then I cut the part where I am going to put the tape for later.

38.JPG

39.JPG

Then I pretty much assembled everything.

40.JPG

42.JPG

This is what it looks like. I added the head, but I am going to add the hair later.

Sculpting the Hair:

43.JPG

44.JPG

Before I start with the hair, I like to heat gun the clay first, which makes the clay prebake so that I will not ruin the shape when I start adding hair, and to make the clay hard enough to be easy to work with.

45.JPG

47.JPG

I am starting to sculpt the hair. I start with the front hair first.

48.JPG

50.JPG

And then using the needle tool, I flatten it or add texture to the hair, which is not my favorite part in this process LOL.

Making the Apple:

51.JPG

52.JPG

I am going to use translucent clay for the body of the clay. I shaped it into an apple shape, and then I added a dent to add the leaves later.

53.JPG

54.JPG

And then I added shade using soft pastels and a brush.

55.JPG

56.JPG

To make the leaves and the stem, I am going to use the green apple and brown clay.

57.JPG

58.JPG

Assemble them, and I added it to Eunho's head.

59.JPG

60.JPG

Bake them in a preheated oven at the time and temperature specified in the packaging instructions.

61.JPG

62.JPG

Time to add the UV Resin, I pour it into the clay.

63.JPG

64.JPG

And then I apply it using a brush.

65.JPG

66.JPG

Cure it under a UV Lamp.

68.JPG

69.JPG

Then I add a heavy-duty double-sided tape.

70.JPG

71.JPG

Then I put it into the back of my phone.

74.JPG

75.JPG

This is what it looks like. Make sure to stick it where it does not block the camera.
