Matcha Donut Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? I woke up this morning with a sore throat, which I guess is a lucky time to start my day, huhu. I hope this will be gone as soon as possible.
So as you know everytime I see a food with matcha on it, I will buy it whenever it takes, I'm still hunting for a pure matcha donut, as in matcha bread and matcha sweet glazing. So to satisfy my imagination, I am going to make a clay keychain out of it.
Materials I Used:
- Polymer Clay
- Glass Sheet
- Weighing Scale
- Brush
- Gum Container
- Toothbrush
- Needle Tool
- Soft Pastels
- Paintbrush
- Eyepin
- Oven
- Liquid Clay
- Pallete Knife
- Dotting Tool
- Keychain
- Pliers
Craft Time!
I knead the clay by hand until it is completely conditioned and the texture is smooth. Make sure to do this step, and then I always weigh all the clay I used. This is optional if you don't have a weighing scale.
Then I shape that clay into a ball and place it onto a gum container lid, and then using the tip of a brush.
And then poke the middle to create a hole, just like a donut.
To add texture, I use a toothbrush and needle tool.
To add shade, I use soft pastels and a brush.
This is what it looks like.
And then I added eyepin.
To make the sweet glaze, I mix clay and liquid clay and mix them until the texture turns into a real glaze.
Using the dotting tool, I apply it onto top of the donut clay I made earlier.
To make the glazing interesting, I mixed white clay and liquid clay and made a design using it, and then I scraped some soft pastel as a matcha dust.
And then bake in a pre-heated oven and set the time and temperature according to what the packaging of the clay instructed.
And to add the keychain, I put the jump ring into the eyepin and then lock it using two pliers.
Matcha Donut :D
