Fishball Handmade Street Food Clay Keychain

Copy of Copy of Your paragraph text (8).gif

Hello, how are you? We’re going out lately because my mom’s not busy with work, and I think classes are on vacation now. And today I guess we'll go out again, which makes me happy because I love travelling and just sitting looking at the view LOL.

So, for today's clay keychain, I am going to make the classic Street Food that everybody likes, the "Fishball", this one is the most known street food people eat and the one cheapest too, so it is always sold out.

So yeah, I like to challenge myself again and do this this time!

Materials I Used:

1.JPG

  • Glass Sheet
  • Poylmer Clay
  • Portable Weighing Scale
  • Gum Container
  • Toothpick
  • Wire Brush
  • Alcohol
  • Qtip
  • Soft Pastels
  • Makeup Brush
  • Eyepin
  • Silicone Mat
  • Oven
  • UV Lamp
  • Disposable Gloves
  • UV Resin
  • Pliers
  • Keychain

Craft Time!

First is I condition the clay by kneading it until the texture of it is smooth enough to work with. The clay I bought is smooth, so it doesn’t take much time to condition it.

3.JPG

4.JPG

Then I weigh them using a portable weighing scale. Weigh them equally.

5.JPG

6.JPG

I grab a clay, and then I shape it into this shape.

7.JPG

8.JPG

Using the wire brush tool tip handle, I shape it into a fish ball. And then I repeat the process with the remaining clay.

10.JPG

11.JPG

After that, I clean the clay from dust and dirt using alcohol and a Q-tip.

14.JPG

15.JPG

After that, I use a toothpick as the BBQ stick, and then I poke it in carefully.

16.JPG

17.JPG

To make it more realistic, I added shades to it using soft pastel and a makeup brush.

18.JPG

19.JPG

I keep layering until the shades I want.

20.JPG

22.JPG

Then I added the eyepins. I just poke it in.

23.JPG

24.JPG

Then I place it on a silicone mat, and while the oven is still preheating, and then after it got pre heat I bake it at the temperature and time the packaging instructed.

25.JPG

26.JPG

I pour UV Resin into plastic, and then I scrape some soft pastel, and then mix them until well combined, and then I apply the mixture using this toothpick.

27.JPG

28.JPG

After that, I added chilis using the baked red clay I cut, and then I cured it under a UV Lamp for about 5 minutes or until it is no longer sticky.

29.JPG

30.JPG

Now I am going to add the keychain. I am going to use two pliers. What I do is I hoop in the jumping into the eyepin.

31.JPG

33.JPG

And then I lock it using the two pliers I have. And done, I have a fishball keychain.

34.JPG

Did a little photoshoot. A green plant is a lifesaver for the background, making everything look aesthetic.

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.

That looks so yummy and looks real 😫 Now I miss eating that since I don't see a lot here in my area nowadays. It's only those type that are more circle and quite frankly just taste like flour. Those flat ones hit different. :D
