Bread With Ube and Cheese Ice Cream Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? One or two weeks of cold weather is gonna end, and I am not ready for it. The recent weather is kind of hot now. The good thing about it is the months of going to the beach, which means a lot of ice cream vendors ringing their bells to attract kids and adults like me to buy one.
It is good to remember those moments, and I hope this year we can go to the beach just once, so yeah, I was thinking what clay food I am going to make today, and I remembered the bread with ice cream I used to buy. The one who sells ice cream here at our place use tricycle, and it is tiring to run out to call them hahaha. One time, my brother was craving for it and failed because the one selling it was so fast and couldn't hear my brother calling for it.
So yeah, I am going to make ice cream in a bread clay keychain. I hope you like this one.
Materials I Used:
- Polymer Clay
- Glass Sheet
- Weighing Scale
- X-Acto Knife
- Acrylic Stamping Block
- Needle Tool
- Toothbrush
- Tree Brush Tool
- Soft Pastels
- Brush
- Eyepin
- Gum Container
- Oven
- UV Resin
- Disposable Gloves
- UV Lamp
- Mask
- Keychain
- Pliers
Craft Time!
I condition the clay using my hand. Do not skip this part. Make sure to knead the clay until the texture is soft enough to work with, and then I weigh the clay I am going to use for future reference.
And then I shape the clay into a ball.
Then I put the clay onto an acrylic stamp, and then using the X-Acto knife, I cut half of it, but not totally, just like slicing a loaf of bread in the middle.
I used the needle tool, toothbrush, and tree brush tool to add texture to the clay, just like the real bread.
I used soft pastel and a brush to add shade to the clay. Using soft pastel is a must if you want a realistic color to it.
For the ice cream, I use this color just like cheese and ube flavor. What I do is I shape the clay into a ball and then put it on an acrylic stamping block, and then using the X-Acto knife, I scrape the side of it just like an ice cream.
I did it around the clay until it formed like clay. I did it to other clay.
It is time to add the clay ice cream to the bread. I am generous with the amount of ice cream I added, hehehe.
After that, I added the eyepin.
I preheat the oven first, then bake the clay at the time and temperature specified in the packaging instructions.
I wanted a melted effect on the clay, so I added it using mixing UV Resin and a soft pastel close to the color of the ice cream clay, and then I applied it just like dripping ice cream.
After that, I cure it under UV Lamp for about a few minutes or until the UV Resin is fully cured. Make sure to use disposable gloves and a mask for this part.
Time to add the keychain, what I do is I put the jumpring into the eyepin.
Then I lock it using the two pliers I have, and done!

Now I have Ice cream in bread.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
