Truth Or Dare; Birthday Saga.

Immediately we arrived at the party, I felt the place wasn't just normal because I expected something open since it was a Birthday party but it was the opposite. From the look of things, the celebrant rented a temporary house just to mark his birthday.

A lot of weird thoughts started flowing through my head and I quickly shifted it aside to avoid it ruining the fun even before it started. My friend had blended in already and I was pissed on the other hand that she didn't stay with me.

Truly I am an extrovert but not every outing gives me the feeling of a true party. My friend was the invited one but she brought me since I wanted to tag along. It was barely 10 minutes after we arrived there a guy came to say hello to me and I replied as a normal human. He introduced himself and I did the same as well but the way he was smacking his lips while talking was irritating so the conversation ended earlier than he expected but I got to know he was the celebrant.

The MC started some activity and for the first time, we were told to introduce ourselves at the party. I did my Introduction and didn't stop emphasising that I was an extrovert. Things went smoothly and I felt relaxed to mingle with other guests.

"Game time! Game time everyone," The MC announced and the music paused. We all paid attention to MC and immediately he said "Truth Or Dare game," I didn't understand why everyone was excited.

I know about the game but everything about it doesn't make sense. I didn't want to be part of the game so I just went to sit immediately with a plate of the grilled gizzard I was holding.

"Sis, you should join us ooo." One of the male guests who was there said to me and I faked a smile just for him to let me be. They started their game and it was fun watching how they did those stupid things.

They passed a bottle around and whoever was holding the bottle when the music stopped would be the player.

It wasn't long before the guy that came smacking his lips earlier went to whisper something to the MC. I do not drink alcohol and for some reason, I was very alert to everything happening at the party.

After he whispered into the MC's ear, returned to his seat. Their game continued and this guy happened to be the player this time.

Everyone was quiet and the MC read out his task.

"Pick any lady aside from your girlfriend and lock lips with her for a minute"

Right where I was sitting, I had tons of questions in my head. "Why can't he choose his girlfriend?" Isn't it disrespectful to kiss another person in the presence of your lover?

While looking at what the guy would do, he just walked up to me and requested that I be his partner for the game.

"Why?" I asked and he said, "We are just having fun, common"

"Brother fun, I am not interested," I replied.
He smiled and tried pulling my hand and I lost control of myself. I didn't know how my right hand landed a slap on his face and it was even the people's reaction that made me realize what I did.

I got on my knees and apologized immediately. The guest burst into laughter and my friend came to meet me.
"You shouldn't have done that," she said to me and I was short of words. I just took my bag and left the place immediately. While walking out, I heard the MC said, "An extrovert who is not really extroverted has left,"

I felt embarrassed though but didn't feel any form of regret because I didn't understand why I should kiss a stranger in the first place. After that day, whenever I hear the word, Truth or Dare, I just step out of the party immediately and won't return until they are done.
