Clones can't replace beautiful souls.
It's not surprising anymore why some humans look very much alike without knowing eachother or having a family connection. I've read stories and heard people's testimonies on different platforms. I see how people react but don't see it as a big deal. Although two people who look alike today might not have a family connection now, what if their ancestors were connected?
Our ancestral connection isn't something we consider when discussing this topic, but it could explain why people look alike. It's easy to argue about, but isn't it similar to when a family last had a stammerer six generations ago, and suddenly, a child is born with the trait?
To the best of my knowledge, human genes carry many traits, and not all are dominant. There are recessive traits that come up once in a while. To back my point, why don't Nigerians have striking resemblance with Koreans or Indians? It's because our ancestors are different, so having an ancestral connection is enough reason to have a look-alike.
There was a time when the world wasn't as populated as it is, and we are definitely offspring of those few people. Somehow, we carry similar traits and genes, so having a striking resemblance isn't a big deal, but cloning is a different thing entirely.
It's not proven that cloned humans exist, but I know scientists are working tirelessly to achieve human cloning technology. From their perspective, it's a way to replace humans who met their demise unexpectedly due to illness, accident, or other causes, but in the bigger picture, I don't see cloning as a technology we need.
Humans cloning themselves is like altering the cycle of every human life, and most importantly, cloned humans can never replace the real person completely. If clones can think, can they carry our feelings or emotions? We are forgetting that they are biological copies, yet there will always be flaws because human creation is unique and can't be replicated.
If offered to be cloned, I won't take it because there is no need for it. I believe I am enough to have the maximum experience I want in life without any interference by a clone. Instead of letting my clone live on if I pass away unexpectedly, I prefer that my family and loved ones remember me for who I was rather than comfort themselves with my clone. In fact, a lot of humans would live recklessly because they can be cloned, so when a part of them dies, another can continue to live.
Cloning humans will eventually take away human essence, which would make genuine connections very scarce. I can't imagine going around my daily life interacting with clones while the real humans are somewhere fading away—I would break their necks.
Look-alikes come from shared genes, not cloning. A clone can’t replace my feelings or story, so I wouldn’t want one
Everyone who look beyond the silly or selfish things clones can be used for won't settle for one.
This right here
It is one of the unique things about humans, and I took it from your words. The thing about humans is that every fall, every heartbreak, and every success has a way of shaping us and making us who we are. The hurt we feel can't be replicated, and that's where the flaw of the clone will start because "Yes, they can have our face and body structure," but emotions, feelings, and experiences are something they can't replicate even though they gain all of our knowledge. The hurt you feel when a knife cuts your skin is not something they can just pass to someone; they have to feel and experience it for them to be able to understand what it really means.
This is an interesting write-up, and I enjoyed reading it.

The difference between us and clones would be a lot. The emotional part of us is something they will never be able to replicate. I love your comment too, thanks.
Thank you.
