Reflection Hunting On A Windy Setting

While passing near the industrial zone on my way home, I noticed that the sea once again had its lowest level after days of being deep during the past few days due to the rainy season. So I immediately took a halt and rushed to the shore to do some reflection hunting, as I may not be able to view this sight when it will rain almost continuously due to the predicted stormy weather that will come in the following days. However, upon setting up my foot on the beach, I found out that the winds can hamper my hunt for reflection as the winds threaten to distort the reflection of the industrial zone cast on the water surface.

I don't get easily discouraged, though, and I decided to stay at the beach, as I believe that the wind will weaken at some point and will give me a chance to take nice reflection snapshots of the industrial zone. While waiting for that time, I also try to take pictures of the silhouettes of people, mostly in their teens, who are looking for edible sea creatures brought by the low tide.

Then I walked further and looked for the proper angle to take a picture of the industrial zone, as I noticed that the winds were weakening gradually.

Wading through the shallows, I photographed potential reflections – people and objects alike. But the real gem turned out to be the sky itself. The cloudy expanse cast an ethereal reflection, and the sun's fading afterglow painted a natural vignette on the water's surface – a serendipitous discovery for my seascape shots.

Then here it is, an almost perfect reflection of the industrial zone taken several meters farther from the shore, starting from the north and continuing to the south.

At this time, the setting sun showed up before finally disappearing to the horizon to welcome the night and, in turn, for me to say adieu to the sea.

This is my humble contribution for this week's Reflection Hunters Contest #177 by Ms. @olgavita. Thank you very much!
