Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the prompt "disclose the secret" taken from @daily.prompt's post.

A sealed envelope bearing her father's writing caused her heart to race. He wasn't a very happy man. The words on his tombstone haunted her. He'd taken secrets to his grave.
"Open it?" her friend pushed.
She broke the seal. The letter inside revealed a hidden past, a love affair between her father and a lady named Sapphira.
"I never knew," she whispered.
Her friend smiled. "Everyone has secrets."
Tears welled in her eyes. "Now I know the secret he couldn't disclose. A love that defied time."
In her hands, the past unfolded, and she finally understood her father's silence.
