My kitty Mágica, like every feline, is a natural hunter. Even though she eats her kibble all the time, whenever she gets the chance, she sneaks up on little birds.

Despite having cats around here, it's our custom to leave food out in the yard for the little birds, who come in large numbers to eat.

In summer, we also leave water sources where they can play and cool off, which reminds me that they also need water in winter. So as soon as I finish this post, I’ll go give them something to drink.

In this series of photos, we see Mágica on the prowl. Fortunately, the birds are very cautious—at the slightest hint of danger, they quickly take flight, wait until it’s safe, and then return.

En verano también le dejamos fuentes de agua donde puedan jugar y refrescarse, lo que me recuerda que en invierno también necesitan agua, por lo que apenas termine esta publicación les pondré agua para beber.
