Greetings, dear #CatLovers and #Hivers! Last Saturday, I shared that my long-time wish of having a kitten had finally come true—a little one had appeared all alone in my yard. ¹

I named her Mágica because she’s black like our cat Mágico², and her arrival felt truly magical.

As it turns out, she is one of the kittens from a litter belonging to my neighbor’s cat, whom I call "Batman Cat" 🦇 because she has a mask-like black pattern on her fur. She often comes to my house asking for food and affection.

A few days later, the neighbor’s daughter, who owns Batman, asked me to return Mágica after spotting her in my yard, saying she belonged to them. With a heavy heart, I gave her back to avoid issues with the neighbors. 😢

Not long after, my parents arrived and asked about Mágica. I told them what had happened, and they were sad as well—we had all grown quite attached to her.

Then, about 30 minutes later, the neighbor came back with the box in which I had handed over Mágica—and she was inside! ❤️

She told us that the other kittens hadn’t accepted Mágica anymore, so she decided to give her back to us, which made us so happy.

Now, here comes the best part: while I was away on a trip, Batman decided to bring another one of her kittens to my house! So now I have two kittens, and their mom comes by to eat and nurse them.

Let’s see if the number of cats keeps growing—apparently, Mágica has quite a few siblings! *

Saludos queridos #CatLovers y #Hivers! El otro sábado les contaba que al fin se había cumplido mi deseo de tener un gatito, que había aparecido solito en mi patio.¹

La nombré Mágica porque es negrita como nuestro gato Mágico², y además su aparición fue mágica.

Pues bien, resultó ser una de las gatitas de la camada de la gata de mi vecina, a la que yo llamo la gata "Batman" 🦇 porque tiene una especie de antifaz negro diseñado en su pelaje, y que acostumbra a ir a mi casa a pedir comida y caricias.

Unos días después, la hija de la vecina dueña de la gata Batman, me pidió que le regresara a Mágica porque la vio en mi patio y me dijo que era de ellos. Con el corazón partido, se la devolví para evitar problemas con los vecinos 😢

Luego de un rato llegaron mis padres y me preguntaron por Mágica y les conté lo sucedido. También se pusieron tristes porque ya todos estabamos muy encariñados con ella.

Pero luego de unos 30 minutos, vuelve la vecina con la cajita en la que le había entregado a Mágica, con ella adentro!!! ❤️

Nos contó que el resto de los gatitos ya no aceptaron a Mágica por lo que decidió devolvernosla, lo que nos puso muy felices.

Ahora viene la mejor parte: resultó que mientras yo estaba de viaje, la gata Batman decidió traer a uno más de sus gatitos a mi casa! Entonces ahora tengo 2 gatitos, y su mamá viene de visita a comer y a darles de mamar.

Veremos si no va aumentando el número de gatos, porque aparentemente Mágica tiene unos cuantos hermanitos. 😺
