Welcome to my blog. I am your Lady Motor Rider. Ride with me while exploring the beautiful places in my town. At the same time, I am happily sharing my journey with you along the way. We will make this ride the most unforgettable and full of adventure.

HOPE: My Personal Journey
Hope is the nickname my parents gave me. They told me that I am their hope, since I am a second child and they were longing for a daughter. For me, the name HOPE is always my hope to move forward after every problem I survived. My life is full of challenges. I have a very colorful love story and family story. So, who is really HOPE? I am inviting you to read my self-introduction to glimpse some highlights of my life.

Hello, my name is Genessa Ugdamina Galleposo, call me HOPE, that would be easy to remember. I always dream to become a blogger since it became trending online. I don’t know how to start with it. I am glad I found this platform. Now, I have an outlet to express and share some moments of my daily life activities. I am an adventurous person. I love to ride and travel, I was born with a golden voice as my parents say hahaha, of course I do believe in them. Continue reading and you’ll know me more along the way.

My Chilhood

My childhood days were full og memories, since I was born during 80’s, I grew up with a strict parent, my father to be precise. Looking back from now, I am glad that I able to experience those days. I love remembering playing with my friends during full moon, climbing trees and more funny things I did. My father told me that I have a precious gift, the talent of singing and dancing. He helped me to develop my singing and I even won major prizes in the competition. Looking at the picture above it is funny how iIevolved as a human hahaha.

Those Beautiful Days of Us

I am 38 years old right now, I love remembering our old days with my family, because those days were the happiest of my life. I am emotional right now writing this part of my life. Sometimes, I want to go back, I want to experience all those things from my past. If I will be given a chance to go back, I want those moment my younger years where everything is right and happy. 

My Family

I know that every family is not perfect and my family is one of them. Every sibling has its own personality, as time goes by we grow up, and we have different paths and lives now. On my part, I was called as prodigal daughter because I made decision against of what my parents want me to do. I always follow what makes me happy, it is what they called, against all odds. I don’t have any regrets with the decision i made but the circumstance was, I was disowned by my parents. But, I am always praying that one day everything will be in place. I am not losing hope. That’s what makes my name HOPE, mean so much to me.

I AM A MOTHER

I am a proud single mother. It was not easy, but I am lucky that my parents assumed my obligations. My daughter is 20 years old already, and she is 2nd year college this year. Since, I was working in Manila and continued my studies there, she grew up away from me. We are not that close as a mother and daughter in her younger years, maybe because she did not understands well our situation at that time. But this time at her age, she understands everything, and we slowly build our relationship.

The Learning Phase – Building My Skills

I never expected that I would finish four courses in my existence haha. When I got pregnant at the age of 17, I was 1st year college at that time, of course, I have to stop my studies and take care of my daughter. For 2 years I took care of my child and left her to my parents. I went to Manila to find a job to support my child’s needs. For 4 and a half years, I worked as a saleslady and a factory worker. When my Boyfriend decided to help me to continue my studies, who am I to refuse the offer? Haha. I grabbed the opportunity and finished 2 courses, in Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant and Bachelor in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After 9 years in a relationship with my boyfriend we decided to get married.Yes, I am married, unfortunately, after a year my husband found his destiny. When I discovered about the affair, I went back home to Mindanao and continue my life. I worked as an English Second Language (ESL) teacher and ablr to continue my studies in Professional Education with Professional Certificate in Teaching and Master’s Degree in Public Administration. That’s how colorful my life is.

MY DREAM IS TURNING INTO REALITY

It was my childhood dream to become a beauty queen. When I was young, while I was watching a pageant, I always dreamed, what if I were the one on the stage? I want to experience what is the feeling being on the stage wearing full makeup, with the glam team, dressed in shining, elegant gowns, costumes, and showcasing my talent. Of course, the question and answer portion is playing in my mind. I even portray some of my favorite candidates and practice on how to introduce myself. In 2001, I was crowned as Miss Intrams, in April 2004, I was 1st Runner Up as Mrs. Leon B. Postigo. In December 2004, I was one of the candidates in Ginang Sindangan, I did not get any award or crown, but that was a great and best experience. Finally, I turn my dream into a reality. This is one of the chapters of my life that I am going to share with my grandchildren.

MY FURBABIES

Since my daughter is living with my parents, I have 2 furbabies who complete my life. They are not just pets, they are my babies. It seems like they came from, in my womb. They are my happiness and my joy. Sometimes, I woke up in the middle of the night with a heavy heart, and I just hugged them, and suddenly those weird feelings eased. They are part of my life, they are my kids, and I am their mother.

When I came across a post of @antonette and @chinito about this incredible opportunity, I finally found an outlet to share my stories, because that is what I want to do. I understand that everything that would be posted here is true, and I strictly follow the rules and guidelines in this platform. I love posting my daily life, my travels, and other inspiring stories about my life. I really want to share my life to everyone, in that way I can express myself.
I assure you that every word I write is my own. Since, I want to share the exact words that come from my real emotions, thoughts, and reflections. My photos are mine with simple enhancement through canva.
