Nunca más/never more (ESP /ENG)

Un pequeño pájaro mi miraba a los ojos con tristeza, era una tarde de primavera y al asomarme al jardín vi que sus ojos apuntaban hacia mí, nunca emitió ningún sonido, tampoco estaba herido, pues me acerqué y se dejó acariciar con ternura, pensé que tenía hambre y tomé migajas de pan para alimentarlo.
Logré tomarle algunas fotografías pues se quedaba totalmente quieto, tal vez no quería marcharse de mi casa.
Después de caminar por el patio regresé al jardín y un plumífero cuerpo yacía sobre la hierba. Pensé en señales del destino, o alguna respuesta de la naturaleza a cierto problema que me acontecía.
Le conté a un amigo lo sucedido y me explicó que el pan es mortal para las aves pequeñas.
Y así fue la primera vez que asesinaba la belleza con mis propias manos por desconocimiento. Bajé la cabeza y casi en susurro le dije a mi amigo:

-¡Nunca más! y el asintió.

(Llevo poco tiempo en la plataforma de Hive y es mi primera vez en esta comunidad, he visto maravillosas fotografías y me he animado a compartir parte de mi verdad en imágenes)

A small bird looked me in the eyes with sadness; it was a spring afternoon, and as I leaned out to the garden, I saw that its eyes were pointing towards me. It never made a sound, nor was it injured, as I approached and it allowed me to gently pet it. I thought it was hungry, so I took some crumbs of bread to feed it. I managed to take some photographs of it since it remained completely still; perhaps it didn't want to leave my house. After walking around the patio, I returned to the garden and a feathery body lay on the grass. I thought of signs from fate or some response from nature to a certain problem I was facing. I told a friend what had happened, and he explained to me that bread is deadly for small birds. And so it was the first time I killed beauty with my own hands due to ignorance. I lowered my head and almost whispered to my friend:

-Never more! and he nodded.

(I have been on the Hive platform for only a short time, and this is my first time in this community; I have seen wonderful photographs, and I was encouraged to share part of my truth in images.)
