At the time, I was working at a store in the Santiago Mariño Airport in Margarita. I should point out that he had become very popular for releasing catchy songs that I really liked, and he was a newly discovered artist, loaded with hits.

En aquellos años yo trabajaba en una tienda que quedaba en el aeropuerto de Santiago Mariño de Margarita. Debo destacar que él se habia vuelto muy popular por lanzar canciones bastante pegajosas que a mi me gustaban mucho y estaba como artista recién descubierto, todo cargado de éxitos.

So that day started as I normally expected, I was focused on my job as the store manager (it was a clothing store) and I was making sure everything was in order. I also had the responsibility of choosing the music, so I played one of Cosculluelas' many hits in which he dedicated the song to his son.

Así que ese día empezó como normalmente lo esperaba, yo enfocada en mi trabajo como encargada de la tienda, (era una tienda de ropa) y estaba pendiente que todo estuviera en orden, también tenía la responsabilidad de elegir la música, así que puse a sonar uno de los tantos éxitos de Cosculluelas en la que le dedicaba el tema a su hijo.

Of course, I loved that song, and I decided to blast it to spread good energy to my coworkers and potential customers who came into the store. And at that moment, while I was busy, a customer came up to me and asked me a strange question. He said, "Do you like Cosculluelas and his music?" I replied, "Sure! I'm a fan!"

Por supuesto que ese tema me encantaba y decidí ponerla a todo volumen para contagiar a mis compañeros de trabajo de buena energía y a los posibles clientes que vinieran a la tienda. Y en ese momento, mientras estaba en mis cosas, llega un cliente que me hace una pregunta extraña, me dice: ¿Te gusta Cosculluelas y su música?, le respondí: Claro! soy su fan!

To which he replied, "What would you say if you had the chance to meet him in person?" I kept thinking, "How so? I don't know, I'd be surprised." While I was answering, he started looking at some jackets and said, "I'll be right back. I'm going to find my boss."

A lo que me responde: ¿Qué le dirias si tuvieras la oportunidad de conocerlo en persona?, yo me quedé pensando, ¿cómo así? no sé, estaría sorprendida. Mientras le respondía él se puso a ver unas chaquetas y dijo: ya vengo, voy a buscar a mi jefe.

I continued doing my things in the store and suddenly I heard a Hello, how are you? When I turned around, guess who it was? Cosculluelas himself. Then I got so excited. It was so nice to meet him, I couldn't believe it. He hugged me and talked to me for a while. He was very kind, very attentive.

Yo continué haciendo mis cosas en la tienda y de repente escucho un Hola, cómo estás?. Cuando me volteo, ¿adivinen quién era? El mismísimo Cosculluelas y entonces me emocioné demasiado, para mi fue muy lindo conocerlo, no podía creerlo. Él me abrazó y habló conmigo un buen rato. Se portó muy amable, muy atento.

We talked a lot. He invited me for coffee, gave me a rose, and sang a little bit of the song I played at the store. He even bought me the jacket he saw in the store. It was incredible. What I thought would be an ordinary day turned out to be extraordinary. God gave me the opportunity to meet him, and I'm very grateful for the experience.

Hablamos bastante, me invitó a tomarme un café, me regaló una rosa y también cantó un pedacito de la canción que puse en la tienda, hata me compró la chaqueta que vió en la tienda. Fue increíble. Lo que pensé que sería un día cualquiera se volvió extraordinario. Dios me dió la oportunidad de conocerlo y agradezco mucho la experiencia.
