¡Bienvenidos al 2026: Un nuevo capítulo para nuestra comunidad!
Finalmente, el 2026 ha llegado a nuestras pantallas, y desde @la-colmena queremos recibirlo con los brazos abiertos y el corazón lleno de optimismo. Iniciamos este ciclo con la firme convicción de que será un año marcado por la paz, la salud y, sobre todo, por los éxitos compartidos dentro de nuestra vibrante comunidad hispana en Hive. Nos llena de entusiasmo seguir siendo testigos del crecimiento constante y del talento inagotable que fluye en cada rincón de nuestra plataforma.
Para nosotros, la misión sigue siendo clara: apoyar el contenido de calidad. En un ecosistema tan vasto, la comunidad de habla hispana ha demostrado ser uno de los pilares más fuertes y creativos. Seguiremos trabajando incansablemente para que cada autor que se esfuerza por aportar valor encuentre en nosotros un aliado. Creemos que la excelencia en la creación de contenido es la clave para la sostenibilidad de Hive, y por ello, mantenemos nuestro compromiso de visibilizar y recompensar ese esfuerzo.
En este contexto de renovación, queremos compartir con ustedes una noticia que nos llena de alegría. Tras haber anunciado hace un par de meses el cese de operaciones de nuestro testigo, hoy queremos informarles que estamos realizando todas las gestiones necesarias para reactivar el testigo @la-colmena lo antes posible. Entendemos la importancia de este rol para el fortalecimiento de la red y el apoyo a nuestra comunidad; por ello, estamos trabajando arduamente para que vuelva a estar en funcionamiento muy pronto. Manténganse atentos, ya que estaremos informando sobre cada avance en este proceso.
Para comenzar el año con la transparencia que nos caracteriza, les presentamos nuestro balance correspondiente al mes de diciembre. En este informe detallamos la labor de curación segmentada por comunidades y el rendimiento individual de nuestro equipo de curadores, quienes día tras día dedican su tiempo a buscar y valorar las mejores joyas de nuestro idioma.

Welcome to 2026: A New Chapter for Our Community!
The year 2026 has finally arrived on our screens, and at @la-colmena, we welcome it with open arms and hearts full of optimism. We begin this cycle with the firm conviction that it will be a year marked by peace, health, and, above all, shared success within our vibrant Hispanic community on Hive. It fills us with enthusiasm to continue witnessing the constant growth and inexhaustible talent flowing through every corner of our blockchain.
For us, the mission remains crystal clear: to support quality content. In such a vast ecosystem, the Spanish-speaking community has proven to be one of the strongest and most creative pillars. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that every author who strives to provide value finds an ally in us. We believe that excellence in content creation is the key to Hive's sustainability, and therefore, we maintain our commitment to highlighting and rewarding that effort.
In this context of renewal, we want to share some news that fills us with joy. After announcing the shutdown of our witness a couple of months ago, today we want to inform you that we are making all the necessary arrangements to reactivate the @la-colmena witness as soon as possible. We understand the importance of this role in strengthening the network and supporting our community; for this reason, we are working hard to get it back up and running very soon. Stay tuned, as we will be providing updates on every step of this process.
To start the year with our characteristic transparency, we present our report for the month of December. This report details the curation work segmented by communities and the individual performance of our curation team, who dedicate their time day after day to searching for and valuing the best gems in our language.
