Oh my God, my brother is habitual of doing such episodes. Once we had to wait for the last movie show, because the person whose keys, he picked up while walking through a detector, was of a motorbike 🛵. Had to wait for our car keys. I know the feeling.

There is a trick for that. Spare key at home? call home and let the person press on the open button of the spare key near the microfone of the phone. Hold your phone near the car on speaker. The door will open, that's it!
if only i had an extra key fob
better than urs i suppose lol. ur in my neck of the woods...hope u didnt have to deal with the locksmith mafia.
luckily i know a guy. he was there in 25 minutes.
