POBphotocontest New Round: MUSIC

Hello Everyone!

This week’s contest is about music, and I couldn’t think of a better photo to share than this old piano. It has been in our family for as long as I can remember, quietly sitting in the corner of the room like a witness to so many moments from our childhood. We used to gather around it as kids, practicing pieces for our school recitals, sometimes struggling, sometimes laughing, and sometimes just pressing the keys for fun. I never truly learned to play well, music just wasn’t my thing but those memories have stayed with me. When I recently took this photo, I expected to find it broken or silent after all these years. But to my surprise, the keys were still intact, and it still makes music. The only real issue seems to be the condition of the wood, which has been affected by woodlice over time. Despite that, the piano remains a beautiful reminder of the past.
