Friendlymoose Photo Contest New Round - ANIMALS

Hello Everyone!

When we think of a carabao, we usually imagine the classic dark, almost black animal grazing in the fields. So imagine my surprise when I came across this white carabao — an albino carabao — for the very first time!

I was honestly amazed. I stopped walking, stared for a few seconds, and immediately took out my phone to take a photo. I thought my family would be just as shocked as I was, so I sent the picture right away. But instead of the reaction I expected, they just said, “Oh, that’s common.”

So there I was, feeling amazed like I had just discovered a mythical creature… while my family acted like I simply found a white chicken.

Still, seeing this albino carabao in person felt special. There’s something unique and striking about its pale color, especially when it stands out against the green grass and the rural background. It's one of those simple surprises you stumble upon during an ordinary day.

Thank you @friendlymoose for initiating this contest.

Thank you for reading everyone have a nice day!

Yeah I felt your family, haha. Here in the province, that kind of carabao is very common. They're like the hybrid kind of carabao. While the black carabao is the native or local kind. Good to know you have acquainted yourself to this kind of carabao so you won't get alienated when you see one in the future again.
