The power of imitation
Good day, everyone. Happy weekend to you all. I'm new here , thank you for having me Daily blog.
I will be sharing what I learnt from the little children who stay in my neighborhood.
I came out this morning to get something done and I observed a little child of 4 mimicking the walking steps of an elderly woman of about 60 years old. Initially, I felt bad about the whole scenario due to the level of disrespect displayed by the child, but I had to rethink this child is just very young and doesn't know what they're doing.
Children imitate a lot. As guides, teachers, parents, and caregivers, we need to be very careful about what we do around them because they are watching. We've heard many testimonies from parents who've shared with us that children often don't want to accept that what their parents told them was wrong. Children are very young and eager to accept what they're exposed to, whether it's right or wrong.

A classmate of mine told me years ago that her first exposure to a sexual act was from her parents when she was much younger, and since that day, her life changed for the worse, and up until today, her parents still can't believe she was exposed to that at a very young age.
As adults, we should pay attention to what our toddlers are exposed to and care about their mental well-being too. Children are gifts from God, and they need to be nurtured in the way of the Lord because they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he or she is old they will not depart from it. The same way a child can acquire different languages by just being around speakers of that language the same thing applies to learning and imitating a new habit.
Be mindful of what you say
Be mindful of the way you act around them
They are watching!!!

Thank you for reading.
True! Children learn more and quickly from what they see than what they are told to do. They easily imitate. Hence, whatever we do, we should consider that they are watching and will pick it up.
very true sir 📌
And who are you imitating?😉
This is a beautiful and intellectual question
