Monomad: Boat shoe spider

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge.

There is something interesting about this spider, I have encountered it several times but only now realized that this spider has boat shoes.

It is truly a great predator when it comes to preying on small, low-flying insects. Maybe the shoes were used to kick or catch some of the targets.

When I took this photo it was in one of the dry weeds, perhaps waiting for a target for insects flying around its.
Its eyes looked sharp as if he was watching something, but when I approached him he just walked backwards. This is a really fierce spider.
