FungiFriday - Mushrooms are dressing up
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw.
Coming out of one of the groves yesterday I got three species of mushrooms. What grows cool on this rotting fallen tree is the Panus mushroom. Actually, I ever found one a few months ago but this one really looks amazing.
As you can see now, the little boy in the middle position flanked by two big ones next to him is a cute little boy, isn't he?
Baby scarlet Elf cups are also very beautiful growing in groups. They also grow on rotting wood with rotting leaves.
The orange color scattered on the roots really shines and decorates the forest floor.
Lastly is Stemonitis splendens this is a brown slime fungus species.
