WHERE WE ONCE SAT

Hi guys,

Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint pen and charcoal on paper.

They say it’s broken—
rust chewing through memory,
paint faded like old stories
retold too many times.

But I see a shrine.
A monument to movement.
A vessel that carried
laughter in the rain,
arguments that ended in silence,
and silence that birthed peace.

The door still opens,
slow and stubborn,
like an old friend
not sure how to say hello.

Its wheels don’t turn,
but somehow,
it still takes me places—
back to dusty roads,
to loud music and louder dreams,
to a past
that refuses to die quietly.
