Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently for a good friend of mine using ballpoint and charcoal on paper.

like morning light slipping through the blinds,
soft and sudden,
turning ordinary hours

It carries warmth
the way the sun holds the earth,
quietly, faithfully,
never asking for return.

When the world leans heavy,
your smile becomes a small rebellion,
a gentle proof
that hope still lingers
between lips and laughter.

I have seen storms quiet at its sight,
clouds scatter at its curve.
In that fleeting gesture,
you gather grace,
and give it freely.

So keep smiling, my friend
for in that light
the world feels a little kinder,
and we, a little braver.
