Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint pen and charcoal on paper.

Braids coil and fall,
not as chains,
but as rivers of memory—
each strand a story,
each knot a survival.

I crouch close to the earth,
rooted in strength,
yet my gaze is forward,
my hand speaks boldly:
I am becoming.

The braid trails long behind me,
not to hold me down,
but to remind me—
I carry generations,
and still I rise.
