STILL LIFE OF THOUGHT

how are you doing today and happy sunday

Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint and charcoal on paper.

————— STILL LIFE OF THOUGHT —————

A lantern glows with amber flame,
Its light a whisper, soft and tame.
It casts a hush on worn-out wood,
Where apple red and wisdom stood.

The apple, round with autumn's grace,
Holds orchard winds upon its face.
A symbol ripe with knowledge deep,
Of questions asked, of dreams we keep.

The books are stacked like silent prayers,
Their spines are stairways, thought-laced stairs.
Each page a world, each word a door,
To minds that lived and searched for more.

Together now, they form a shrine
To hunger, light, and thoughts divine.
A meal for both the flesh and soul,
Illumined minds, a hear made whole.
