Today I’ll be sharing with you a new artwork i created recently using ballpoint and charcoal on paper. Its a portraiy of one of the famouse Nigerian Musicians.

In the hush before the morning glow,
A voice rose up, soft yet bold,
From Benin’s heart, a river flowed
A story sung, a dream retold.
Young prince of rhythm, wild and free,
Blending Afrobeat with melodies,
He caught the winds, he crossed the seas,
And made the world dance with ease.
With every beat, a fire flies,
In "Calm Down," hope never dies,
In "Dumebi," laughter lights the skies,
A rebel sound that never lies.
Mystic child with a lion's flame,
Carving legends from his name,
Each lyric stitched with joy and pain,
Each note, a whisper of the rain.
Rema, rider of the storm,
New-age king, redefined form
A dreamer who was never torn,
A voice through which the future’s born.
