MY MOTHER’S DAUGHTER

Hi guys,
how are you doing today and happy sunday

Today I’ll be sharing with you a drawing i created recently using ballpoint and charcoal on paper.

————— MY MOTHER’S DAUGHTER —————

Her gracious smile that time can't steal,
A quiet strength, a heart that feels.
In her eyes, a softened light
The same that warmed myself mother's nights.

Her smile, familiar, wide and true,
Like morning sun in skies of blue.
A curve I’ve seen a thousand ways
In faded photographs and yesterdays.

The brow she lifts, the gaze she holds,
Are echoes cast in loving molds.
A mirror, not just skin-deep seen,
But in the way her soul has been.

When she laughs, it’s like a thread
Stitched through the things our mother said.
A tilt of head, a certain glance
Not born of chance, but circumstance.

She bears the past upon her face,
A timeless kind of quiet grace.
And when I look at her, I see
The woman who once carried me.

So here she stands, both old and new
My mother's laughter, strong and true.
And in her face, I find again
The love that shaped me, now and then.
