Today I’ll be sharing with you a still life drawing i created i created talking about the life in a kitchen, basically impersonating the kitchen utensils. Created using charcoal and ballpoint pen on paper.

The ketto hums with patient grace,
a vessel forged to cradle heat
it sings of time, of waiting space,
its burden, heavy, yet discreet

The apple rests in its ripened glow
a fruit of whispers, crisp and pure
it holds sweetness deep within
but time will bruise what seems secure

The knife is keen, a silver tongue
cutting truth both old and young
it carves with purpose, clean and cold
a tool of love, a tool of wrath
Yet in its edge, a story told

The cup, its waits with hollowed frame
to hold, to spill, to taste, to share
it bears the hand, it knows no shame
a silent thirst, a silent prayer

The kettle rages, the apple waits,
the knife decides, the cup debates,
Each plays it's part and time cascade,
desire, decay, the edge, the stead

For life is heat, and life is sweet
a thing to drink, a thing to meet
Hey every sip and every slice
is a choice and fate
Both fire and ice.
