Simple Lessons
Life has taught me many lessons the hard way. There were many points when I thought I had everything figured out. I would get going my way. Then get hit with some revelation that I had been something wrong the whole time. I did finally figure out how to do things a little easier.

One of the things I learned is that planning doesn't mean what you to achieve has to be flawless, it just needs to happen. Before, I always wanted to wait for the perfect moment to begin things, like starting a project or establish savings or get into a new routines. But, nothing would end up happening because I spent all of my time trying to find a perfect moment. Eventually, I resolved to jump into writing, no matter how chaotic or minimal it may appear. Documenting ideas, as well as sketching out a rudimentary plan or even creating a note in my phone, can have a significant impact, provided that I don't experience some of same pitfalls of my prior experiences.
Learning to let go of my worries and not stress out over every little thing has also made a difference in my life. I have wasted so much time worrying about things that I know won't matter in next month or so. By taking time to take a deep breath and think about why and what is it I am worrying about, I have cut down on a lot of unnecessary stress and overthinking. Because only then can I concentrate on what is really important and not waste my time on every little thing that doesn't count.
Then there is the power of saying no. Oh, this one took me a long time to learn. I gave a yes to things that I would not normally have said yes to just because I didn't want to disappoint anyone, in many occasions. But after a while of doing so, I found that it was very tiring and frustrating. I also found that it is not selfishness to say no, and there are times when saying no is absolutely essential. In fact, it is one of the most underrated ways to take care of your time and energy, therefore, a life hack.
Lastly, I have learned that seeking for assistance is not a sign of weakness. Rather, it often makes things so much easier. For a long time, I thought that to prove myself to be capable and able, that I needed to 'go it alone' and accomplish everything by myself. However, I've found that just asking a friend or even mentor for help, or searching for that help online, can save a ton of time and energy.

Life hack is not something that can solve every problem we have in life or to live a perfect existence, instead, they are intended to help us find small ways to improve our daily life and reduce our stress levels. Some of these methods works might not work for everyone but they all have positive effect on how I deal with my day-to-day matters. And when I see improvements in my overall well-being, it almost feels like a breath of fresh air.

I realised how true this is the day a loved one told me there was nothing like a perfect time.
You know there are times you would want to carry out a certain task. However, you end up pushing it up to a later time in the name of waiting for the perfect time.
But now I know better. No matter how simple or daunting the task might be, there's no better time to begin than now.
