Picnic at The Pebble Seashore of Famous Coastal Port of Lawigan, Catarman, Camiguin
Good day hivers! How was your weekend and weekdays? As a wife of a uniformed personnel it was a very stressful 2 successive weeks. First week is the holy Week where they are deployed to all tourists attractions especially involving beaches and swimming pools because it's the season of people going out for a swim and they should be there watching over from 7 am in the morning until evening or until last visitors went home. Then followed by the SCUAA 2025 which is held here in the island and that was 1 week of posting to different sports Complex around the municipality. This week will be so much busier because it's about election day and there's a lot to prepare, attending seminars and guarding the voting machines throughout the day and night while having duty on coastal beaches. So very complicated to think. My role here is to prepare his uniform, wake up early and prepare breakfast, prepare his allowance and other things he need to bring. When he got home I have to clean his shoes or combats and prepare everything for tomorrow. He is busy and I'm also busy so their commanding officer decided to have a picnic a little recreation before deploying to a long duty ahead for 2025 national election.
We headed to this amazing place! They said this is one of the famous coastal port of the town and I'm not surprise there's lot of banca here or fishing boats. And far away there are fishermen who are at the sea harvesting fishes and we are waiting for them to buy something for grilling or kinilaw.
I was shocked to see pebbles here. In the center of the town the seashores are sandy, near to our house where we usually had picnic has bigger and huge stones while here it was pebbles. Medium sized and tiny pebbles scattered everywhere. This is my first time walking in a pebble sea shore, it's kind of painful on the foot and kind of wavy.
We have blue Marlin and tulingan. We grill a lot of it and a little kinilaw. We also had chicken adobo. I forgot to take a picture while we are having lunch because everything was cooked almost 2 pm and everyone is so much hungry and me too I was so hungry that I secure myself to eat first.
The kids enjoyed the beach so much. It was a little sunny, dazzling hot but they never mind it. They are also delighted to see the pebbles there. I think they had spent 3 hours in the water in total. I've overheard the laughter while playing the sea water and the pebbles.
My daughter loves exploring in the pebbles. She loves stones so much and if she saw something new to her or beautiful to her she will show it to me. Look what she found a very beautiful pink seashell.
So here's some captures of ours during the day!
It was a very beautiful and relaxing day for us and the troops. I hope there's more of picnic together with them in the future days.
These last two pictures are taken using TikTok photo that's why it has some sort of filters and stickers. Some of my photos are edited using capcut.
That's all for today hivers! I hope you had a relaxing moment in life too. To get away from boring household chores and have unwinding moments to grasps nature's delight.
Hello! I'm a newbie here and your post brings my mind to relax with you on the beach. We've been busy lately and have no time to go to one yet despite the summer season. Thank you for sharing.😃
Such a unique spot to visit! The pebbles definitely make it stand out, especially compared to the usual sandy shores. Such a fun day for the kids.
I really also think pebbles is better but it's gave you foot aches. Hahaha because pebbles here are rough and I had so many foot scratches.
Oh! It felt like you're tiptoeing through a foot challenge, souvenir scratches included. hehe
hahahaha yeah but its fun
This season is a nice time to go to the beach. And the pebbles in there were not sharp you can probably walk barefooted.
Yeah but it's painful, every step aches hehe. They're not shiny, they're rough
When I lived in peru it is also common beaches with rocks like this, and if it hurts a lot the skin to step on them, although when I went there it was winter and it was very cold. It is a nice place to share, that fish looked delicious.
Yeah it's really painful but it's beautiful so never mind the pain hahaha
Awesome adventure with your loved ones. I wish I can go to these places too, one day. Pebbles , simply add to the uniqueness of the place.
yeah it is. this is my first time too and i was super amazed.

I can relate to you being a wife of a military. It's not really easy. You need to be strong too. ❤😊
