Hello flower lovers in this amazing community. Today I will take you to my mother's flower garden. Actually this is just located in our backyard. She loves flowers so much and loves collecting different varieties of it. Even before I'm not yet born she loves flowers already and she had a small business of flowers actually in the city. But when I was born she got complications and had to stop going to the city to sell flowers so as an alternative she and my father decided to plant flowers then sell it as wholesale. Then my father got sick of the insecticides so they decided to fully stop this kind of business and convert to vegetables and fruit crops.
Actually I don't know about the names of this flowers so I can't give you a brief explanation so I just drop here the pictures I had collected.

All of these flowers are being kept and taken care of my mother. During the pandemic, collecting flowers became a business and my mother has lots of sales during that time. And that was also the time we discovered other grasses which are considered as plants. One thing I remembered the pink princess flower, it was very expensive. My aunt who lives in the city gave my mother a little roots of this and said to take care of it and once it grew it's expensive to sell and yes it's true. It's a fast growing leaf and when it's bigger buyers who buy and sell came to our house and purchase everything in a good price. Not only that, the grass we called "gabi-gabi" Has became the talk of the community. This flower can be found in the farm or in the field as wild flower and everything in the community are picking it because it's very expensive and they are shipped through the city especially Manila. But the drawbacks of having so much flower in the yard is the mosquito. Actually there is no such evidence from science that mosquitoes live on grasses or plants but I can say that the more plants you have the more mosquito at home. Because two years ago we experience a very long dry season and it came to a very sad time that the plants are dying and everything turns yellow and brown when though we water it everyday. And I can feel that there's no mosquitoes at that time or it's just they don't like dry weather. But when rainy season comes and everything around us became green, there's a lot of mosquitoes and I have to burn coconut husks around the house to avoid mosquito bites. But anyway having flowers around your house can ease stress. It's a very beautiful sight especially in the morning.
How about you guys, do you have plants around your house that are useful, expensive and beautiful? Though some of the plants don't bloom but their leaves says the beauty in it.
Thank you so much for reading my blog until here. See you next blog plant lovers.

The garden is so beautiful full of flowers! I can relate to the struggle of keeping plants healthy lalo na kapag dry season or sobrang dami ng mosquitoes during rainy days. But seeing our plants flowerings and bearing fruits really bring peace and beauty at home. I want also to plant flowers in my vacant time.
