Wat Huai Luk, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai, Thailand, A small and peaceful rural temple.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Every month my wife and I take our son to see a doctor at a hospital in the city of Chiang Mai province (Distance approximately 150 kilometers). Every time we go to the doctor, we have to travel on highway 107, Chiang Mai - Fang route. Through Chai Prakan District, Chiang Dao District, Mae Taeng District, Mae Rim District. On Highway 107, there are many temples along the road. And there is a small temple among nature. This temple is called Wat Huai Luk. Wat Huai Luk is located in Ping Khong Subdistrict, Chiang Dao District. And the temple is about 41 kilometers from our house. We have passed Wat Huai Luk many times but never visited this temple. When my wife and I had the chance to pass Wat Huai Luk again, so we visited this temple.

When we arrived at Wat Huai Luk. We parked our car outside the temple and walked to the temple. The area outside the temple has beautiful scenery. It's a rural village among nature. Looks peaceful and shady.

The temple sign is made of simple wood. It is located on the side of the road.

There is no arch at the entrance to the temple. There are only two lion statues on pillars at the entrance.

When entering the temple, there is a wide courtyard with many large trees are on the side. And the mountain is behind the temple.

Inside this temple there is only a buddha image hall (viharn), a large outdoor buddha image and section containing the monks' living quarters. The temple's buddha image hall (viharn) looks new and beautiful. This buddha image hall (viharn) is made of bricks with spread cement on bricks and painted brown. Decorate with gold color and light blue patterns in the front area and doors. And decorate with gold color patterns on the windows. There are the serpent statues on the stairs at the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn).

This large outdoor buddha image is located at the side of the buddha image hall (viharn). This buddha image is the buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara with tierred umbrella.

Although Wat Huai Luk is a small rural temple with not famous, but we enjoyed and happy visiting the temple this time. And this temple is the 95th temple that I shared with friends.
